My Personal Story
In 1997, I was 30 and single and began
searching for a mate on various online dating sites. There was a stigma
attached to online dating then, and I figured you had to be desperate or a loser
to do this (not me, of course, but everyone else).
I wanted a Christian
mate and after checking out the dating sites of the time, I told friends I could
do a better job than the "primitive" sites I was seeing.
ChristianCafe.com
was the result - a dating site exclusively for the Christian singles market.
With $100,000 borrowed on low-interest credit cards, the site was launched in
early 1999.

I called it "Christian Cafe" after a cafe
concept, because when I spoke to women friends they said the biggest impediment
to going online was safety and lack of "warmth". They wanted a cozy
feel, and designed so that no one had to list their email or real names.
"Nominal" Christians have no trouble making friends on the
larger secular dating sites, but if you are a single Christian even half-serious
about your faith, wanting to meet someone like-minded, I would highly recommend
a Christian-only site.

2003 and in 2005 had twins - a boy and a girl. So, we can say that what we do
